A Slice of Home works with licensed Realtors to engage in their community with a special focus on first time home buyers, seniors, low income and homeless individuals.
Projects Include:
- First-Time Homebuyer Workshop – Since 2020 we have been working with National Faith Homebuyers providing education to individuals seeking to qualify for HUD qualification and down payment assistance. Licensed Realtors have also provided direct services in the home buying process for these individuals.
- Commercial Real Estate Consultation – Through our business consultation services, we work with commercial brokers to evaluate and refine their new client acquisition presentations, with a special focus on the “buyer side,” clients
- Homeless Veterans – In association with All Things Women, Inc., National Faith Homebuyers and Wayne County Veterans Affairs, “Operation Homebound,” we have provided consultative and fund management services in these non-profit organizations’ efforts to provide shelter for the homeless.
- Senior Citizens – Since 2022, we have provided educational services to seniors that are contemplating relocating from their home to safer living environments including independent, assisted and memory care communities.
